Description:
Products obtained by drying & grinding waste from slaughtered poultry. The product must be substantially free of feathers. A by-product from poultry processing, consisting of hydrolyzed feathers, facts, cuttings, intestines, heads, and other waste; products. It normally heat treated, dried and ground. The addition of anti-oxidants is essential to prevent oxidation. The composition varies depending on the consents added, especially that of oils and feathers. The addition of feathers reduces protein availability. The Product has a reasonable amino acid balance.
